That's right I am calling out the refs tonight. They called a completely uneven game tonight against the Wild. It wasn't the fighting penalties that I care about. It's the small things.
Giving Derek Boogaard a 10 minute misconduct on a forearm shove and a shot down the rink. Come on!? Ridiculous. There have been worse things to happen in a hockey game. The Rolston penalties were garbage. It has been like this all series. The disparity in penalties is absolutely shameful. If they want the Avalance to win so badly, just make us pull our goaltender right away and let them take get cheap goals. They had 3 separate 5 on 3's in this game. I don't think I have ever seen that in a hockey game. I don't want to get even in the next game and have everything swing our way. What I want is a fair and eve game to be called. Don't give one team or the other an unfair advantage. It felt unfair tonight. Watching tonight's game felt we were a man down the whole time because of the refs. I also kind of wish Lemaire had sent Simon, Fedoruk, and Voros out there to kick some more ass. But I can see why he didn't. I like that Veillieux fought Leperrier. That was tight. Next time, it's going to be the Boogeyman and I can't wait.
