| Ugle Injury to Foster...damn this is a good game |

Foster went into the boards hard in the second. It didn't look good for his left leg. It made me cringe in real-time and it made me almost sick to watch in slow-motion. Let's hope Foster isn't hurt too bad or that at least his career isn't over. That was an awful hit. More then one Wild player made sure to get a few good shots in so far, the game is about to go into OT.... I haven't been watching a ton of Wild games. I guess I picked a fairly decent one to watch tonight. After Foster got hurt the Wild were flat for a while. I was expecting the Boogey man or someone to step up and crush some one on the Sharks roster. A straight up thumping didn't happen, but the Wild did get way more physical. Shepard laid a few amazing checks. Beniot, I think it was him he's wearing an odd number, lit someone up big-time on a fore-check that had the home fans even applauding. Gabby has two power play goals and has looked really good to me. From time to time I get the feeling he isn't as involved as he could be. The last four or five games I've watched, since he's taken over the captain's C, has looked like a leader.
We are going to a shoot-out. There was a little talk about making a switch in goal, thankfully that didn't happen. I think that'd be straight stupid to switch up the goalies for a shoot-out. I understand that Backstrom hasn't played well in shoot-outs but I don't think its a good practice to bring in a cold goalie late. Backs gives up a goal right-away. Burns comes back and answers with a hard-drive at the five hole. Backstrom with the stop. Wild can take the lead here if Gabby can convert...stuffed. Not sure what the heck Gabby was doing sprinting at net then stopping sudden. JR just school Backstrom old-school style. Mikko got hard-core poke checked by the keeper. Well, I can't say that was exciting but it was at least quick.
Still a good game and the Wild come away with an all important point.
