The Wolves have added an athletic 3, a washed-up 5 and a late first round pick....whtat's next....speculation...
The Wolves can bring in all the washed-up 4/5's that they want (Cardinal, Booth, Ratliff, Collins). I sort of can hang with Collins, Ratliff was filler and so were the other guys but let's just say for the time being we've got enough crap to throw out in the paint when Love/Jefferson need a blow. Now, we need someone to sit behind Foye. I know its been super frustrating watching Foye be injured last year and just not as effective as his rookie year. That having been said, let's roll the dice on Shaun Livingston. Livingston wasn't completely the cats-ass before he went down but he was better then Telfair and better then nothing at all. Plus at 6' 7" Livingston would give us a little height in the back-court. Livingston has some combo guard to him so playing him along side Foye or McCants should work well. Livingston has decent to good court vision, the only question would be his jumper. With our rotating hogs down-low Livingston missing the occasional mid-range jumper might just pad our big's stats? I'd like to see the Wolves roll the dice, worst outcome Livingston isn't healed and we don't play him, as long as its not a huge contract we can deal with him. Give him two years 3-4 million total and see what happens.
