T-Wolves land another 1st Print E-mail

Yahoo Sports is reporting the Wolves are bringing in another future first round pick.  Here are the details.   Is this a good move?... The Wolves are taking on Rodney Carney and Calvin Booth.  I'm milling over their numbers right now and I'm hoping that we let Booth walk, unless McFail knows something the rest of us don't. Rodney Carney is an interesting player, but I'm not sure how or where he fits into the new look Wolves.  We've got gluts of players in positions.  Miller, Shaddy, Carney, Brewer are in the 2 hole, but I'll grant that Miller and Brewer can hold down the three.  I think we are a little thin at the 2 if we decide that Miller and Brewer are best at the 3 but then where does Gomez play or fit in?  We'll still be short a back-up point but maybe if we bring in Carney and this extra 1st rounder we can move for a point or heck maybe we are purely looking for the future.  This trade must mean that Craig Smith is gone for sure but maybe we'll be able to pull off a sign and trade.  Maybe we are buying the mad-dog out?  This team is really interesting right now because we've gone from having way too many guards to tons of bigs.  I hope that we are really looking to get up and down a little more and maybe that's how Carney fits into the new line-up.  If we are a run first team doesn't Shaddy make more sense?  Picking up the pace would really help his game and having Telfair would be a nice addition too in an up-tempo game.  I'm excited to see what the Wolves decide on doing with this roster over the rest of the summer.
