FIrst off I want to make it known that I watch a lot of Sportscenter. I suppose that isn't a huge revelation but I am beginning to hate it somewhat. For the last two weeks or so it has been TIger Woods constantly. Great player, no doubt. Maybe the greatest ever. But come on...talk about others.

Wednesday was Crazy!!! Print E-mail

Let's see here we had three big time sporting events going on last night.  The Wolves were taking on the Hornets.  The Twins threw down with the Chi-Sox.  The Wild and the Avalanche started their playoff series.  Thankfully the start times were somewhat staggered but there was a little while there with three games going all at once.  As fate would have it the Twins and Wolves games were pretty much over by the start of the Wild game, at least as far as competitiveness.  Here are a few quick thoughts...

The Beijing Olympics start in a few months. These Olympics have been the most contentious since probably the 1980 version in Moscow when the U.S. boycotted because of the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan. This time it isn't just the U.S. who are considering some action on this.
