While here at MN Sports Shot we are mostly concerned with Minnesota sports and all of its glory, I have decided to take a break from that and comment on our current political climate. The 7 years or so that Bush has ruled(yes I said ruled) have turned out to be dark times. Our standing in the world has never been lower. We are a mess. Change needed? You betcha.

The Big Ten has made some rather large changes mostly due to their new "Big Ten Network" over this past year.  Has it been worth it?  Is the Big Ten going through a down period?  Should the Big Ten add another school?  How long will it take for the Big Ten to compete with the other power conferences again?
