On one of my last posts I went really in depth about who I consider my top five Minnesota professional athletes. I won't go into detail as much as I did last time. The new list is just Minnesota born sports figures. It is quite unbelievable who has come out of Minnesota. There are dozens and dozens I could choose but here are my top five.

It may seem we are shills for NIKE but flat out they make good commercials. This is for their SPARQ training gear. Features a bunch of atheltes-brandon roy, LT, and Adrian Peterson among others. Also, has a good message for young kids I think. Train hard and you will get fart her. I like that. Here it is.

This is simple a great advertisement. I know its for Nike and I personally haven't worn Nike's for the better part of 12 years. I have to admit I've enjoyed some of their ad campaigns over the last few years. Spike Jones had some great ads with them, with excellent use of experimental film. Since the inception of the swoosh Nike has found a way to be "cutting" edge. I tend to think it has more to do with stumbling upon great concept but they do have more money then most. This video is great and you have got to check it out. I can't wait for Steve Nash to work on some more ads because this one was really fun to watch.
