Udeze is going to receive a bone marrow transplant from his brother which is a great thing to hear. Rembering back to the Vikes guarenteeing his contract for next year this story is interesting too . Looks like we'll have him for two more years. Let's hope he gets better and is okay but its just a cool story.

The day is finally here. One of my favorite weekends of the year is upon us. NFL DRAFT WEEKEND BABY! Now since we traded our first round in the Jared Allen trade, the Vikes have no pick. No matter. It's still awesome. (Just to let the readers know that DrakeSax is going to get in on Jawa's Mock-Draft with some thoughts of my own)

The Vikings went out there and made a huge deal. It was not a deal I was expecting them to try and pull of. It seems a little out of character for the VIkes to mortgage so many draft picks for just one player.

It has become a familiar story as of late. The Supersonics are just the latest example of a city being held hostage by a team that wants a new stadiium. Throughout every major sport this has been true.

The rumor mill is churning. Today it looks like Jared Allen, yes he who led the NFL in sacks last year with 15.5, might be headed to the Vikes in a pre-draft trade. Allen who sat out the first two games last year due to suspension has made it clear he wants out of Kansas City. The Chiefs sound willing to move him. The rumor is for a possible 1st and 3rd round pick. Allen has a trip to Minnesota planned for this weekend. The Bucs are supposedly also in this sweepstakes. Is it worth it for the Vikes to move two high draft picks for Allen? I think so. Why use our first pick on a guy who might or might not pan out when we've got the cap room to go out and get Allen. He's a known commodity. Lets go get him. Go Vikes!
