I’m sure the one guy who is upset about this the most is Thierry Henry.  I’m sure this is only going to make it that much more difficult for Henry as he heads to South Africa for this summer’s World Cup.

Here’s the story for those that are interested.

I really can’t see why FIFA just didn’t leave him off the referee list for the tournament.  Martin Hansson seems like a nice enough guy but his crew assuredly blew the France-Ireland game.  FIFA has dropped the lines-men that missed the call but that’s not really going to end the controversy.  Just to spice up the debate a little more here is the photo again.
