Watching the game and I’m going to update with my thoughts via bullet point through-out.

1. The first drive was awesome.  The way the Vikes used short-timed passes to get the Saints off their game was great.  Then to finish it off with Peterson running right up the gut was sweet.
2. The defense needs to start tackling.  The Thomas touchdown had three missed tackles.  Leber missing the worst.
3. Favre is getting knocked around a bunch.
4. Rice with the Sharper-shimmy was amazing.  F-Darren Sharper, when he hit Favre up high it just showed his lack of class.
5. The late hit on Favre on that drive was super weak.  93 played that one like a true-thug.
6. The Saints aren’t perfect.  That drive was weak.  The fake reverse into the hurry-up reverse was lame.  Reggie Bush was super lucky he didn’t lose 20 on that play.  Cedric Griffin took a bit of a lame semi-cheap shot on Brees and I’m sure that was pay-back for the hits on Favre.
7. The Saints second touchdown has to be chalked up to beating Leber three times.  It’ll go down as Brinkley and Sapp giving up the touchdown but Leber isn’t tackling all that well today and he seems to be a step or two behind.
8. Their first time-out due to crowd-noise not good.
9. More short passes, Harvin is looking good for a guy that couldn’t walk earlier this week due to migraine headaches.
10. Not much going for Peterson today, but he did give Sharper a pretty good lick on that drive.
11. Well, we are punting for the second time, I’m hoping this is more to do with our lack of execution then their defense figuring us out.
12. Wow, Leber is killing me.  I know he had no clue who was behind him on that play where he tips the ball but shoot that was a sure pick that he broke up.
13. What was Reggie Bush doing there on that pitch-out?  I mean he should have gone for the corner, instead he cuts it inside and gets rocked by Pat Williams.
14. Pat Williams has popped some guys today, he’s playing completely and totally possessed today.
15. The fair-catch on the punt with the personal foul penalty, very interesting.  I guess the whistle had blown.  Darius was pretty much interfered with on the catch and then he muffed it.  Just not really sure what the ruling was on that one.  I get kick-catch interference.  I understand a personal foul on a fair catch, but he didn’t catch it.
16. Berrian’s catch on third and long was sweet.
17. The safeties have crept up a lot today, we need to exploit that on the outside.
18. Reggie Bush just lost his mind.  What the fuck was he thinking there?  Call for the fair catch dumb-ass.
19. Adrian Peterson didn’t you just see what Reggie Bush just did?  Come on man.
20. First half in the books.  The turn-over battle is tied up at one.
21. The story to me so far has to be the intensity in the building.  This place is hopping.  The Vikings are handling it well thus far.
22. Ouch that was a horrible way for the Vikes to start a half.  The Saints almost scored one there.
23. Pierre Thomas was down but it probably wasn’t worth challenging the play.
24. Now, its time to get some momentum back and that touch-back won’t help get things going.
25. Nice play to Sidney Rice.
26. Shiancoe down the seam great play
27. Peterson you are killing us here baby.
28. Shiancoe the savior right now.
29. Man this was Shiancoe’s drive.
30. Well, and Brett’s too.  Man he’s good
31. Peterson gets the glory with the touch down but come on man.  Tahi saved your bacon buddy.
32. Leber and Allen helped Brees meet-up with the turf, nice play boys.
33. Greenway just layed the wood on their left-tackle for no real reason it was great.
34. Thanks for the drop on third Reggie.
35. Here comes another punt, will it be muffed again?  Both teams have had troubles holding onto the ball catching punts.
36. Pre-snap flag, goes against the Saints long-snapper.  He totally flinched on the replay but I didn’t see that in real time.
37. What the fuck?  Why was he running that out of the end-zone?  Come on Darius.
38. Peterson?  Three-times?  I mean he got it back but what?  I know that only two are credited to him, but come on that first one was his too.  Man its killing me here.
39. Favre just got chucked down and now Aikmen is trying to say it wasn’t a foul.  Fuck you Troy (Favre & the Vikings beat my Cowboys last week) Aikmen.
40. Let’s hope Favre’s ribs are okay.
41. Favre took a real shot there.  I’m sure he didn’t see where he was even throwing that one but damn he got rocked and threw it to three Saints.  Too bad Vilma didn’t pull a Leber and knock that one away.
42. Gibson maybe?  We need him to make a come-back here.
43. We need to get some licks in on the Saints players here.
44. Is this for real?  COme on guys you can’t give the ball up this many times and actually win.
45. Nice tackles there for Leber and Johnson.  We need to make one more play here and force a field goal.
46. Man they are going to challenge that and win.  Bush was probably in there.  Nice defensive play still.
47. 28-21 do we still have anything left in the tank?  4th quarter come-back?  Favre is the man you want on the field in this situation but damn-it this game is in a danger zone for the Vikes.
48. Finally AP holds onto it and makes a nice play.
49. Berrian?  Thanks Chicago.  Today’s game alone pays for that contract.
50. Aikmen has no balls.
51. WFT? Berrian needs to hold onto that one but that was a nice play by the Saints too.
52. We need a play here.  Come on defense, come on.
53. Nice play.  Brees drops the snap.  Picks it up and drops it on the way down and Payton challenges the play for no reason.  What’s up with that.  Fourth down Saints, lets hope they go for it.
54. Nice way to play that time-out/challenge Payton.  Let’s hope that bites them in the ass.
55. I have no confidence in anything the Vikes are doing today.  We are fumbling the ball all over the place.
56. This shit is way too tense.  I almost don’t want to watch anymore.
57. Rice needs to make a play here to help Favre out.
58. Shiancoe is the man today.
59. Nice run Peterson, after the line had totally gotten blown up the two plays before they really did a nice job on that one.  Way to get in the red zone.
60. Nice play to Berrian.  Favre put it in a place that only Berrian could get it and that guy had to do that.  Nice play.
61. Peterson with three TD’s and he’s still looked horrible.  Then again he’s still one of if not the best running back in the game.
62. Can we hold them?
63. Yes, we covered a kick-off.  This has been a great game.
64. Ray Edwards with the sack, yes!
65. Nice play by Leber too.
66. Winfield with the stick on 3rd!
67. Okay we didn’t muff that one, why is that so stressful?
68. Let’s hope we can at least get a few yards here.  We’ve got the kicker to handle this one.
69. Small gains here is all we need.  Maybe a little more then that 2 yard run but we don’t need to go all the way down the field here on one play.
70. Berrian with the first down.
71. Rice with the catch, Favre with the perfect throw.  This feels like its going to happen.  Taylor with the first down run.  Yes, yes, yes.
72. I have completely geeked out.
73. Come on guys we need five to ten yards here.
74. Nothing on 1st or 2nd.  We’d love to see five more yards shaved off this field goal try at our house.
75. Favre throws a pick?  Damn it damn it damn it.  Could’ve run that one for the gain we needed.
76. Man that is a shitty way to end regulation.
77. It comes down to the coin.
78. Tails the Saints win the toss, god damn it.
79. Strip-Sack-TD?
80. Cedric Griffin does down injured on the kick-return.
81. They have a really inexperienced kicker, let’s hope he chokes if called upon.
82. The Saints ran twice to start overtime and then the Saints “faithful” boo them.
83. Ray Edwards is a beast.
84. Asher Allen gave up a bad 1st via penalty before that Edwards play
85. Greenway almost stopped that 4th and 1
86. Leber got screwed and then made up for it on the next play only to have it all give back on the next play.  Thanks to Winfield’s gimpyness.  Now it might be reviewed.  This game is insanely tight.
87. This game is super stressful.
88. Voo-Doo?  Come on the Saints are being given this by the stripes.
89. That and all of our freaking fumbles.  Come on boys you’ve got to secure the football.   If we lose that’s why.
90. Here comes the kicker.  I hope Chilly doesn’t do the whole freeze the kicker bit.
91. The Colts are the Super Bowl Champions, cause ain’t no way the Saints can beat them.  The Vikes were the better team and a bunch of bone-headed turnovers gave the Saints the game.
92. Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers.  Peterson had a horrible game, Favre played really well but threw two bad-ones and Harvin/Berrian each had a costly one.
